Data Deletion Policy

You have the right to request deletion of all data associated with your Hop 'n Bop account.

How to Delete Your Data

Before deleting your account, you may export your data via Settings > Account > Export My Data.

Open Settings in the game, go to Account, and select "Delete Account". Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately. This action cannot be undone.

If you are unable to access the game, email privacy@hopnbop.net with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include your player ID so we can locate your account.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently delete:

• Your player profile (display name, player ID, profile image URL).
• All linked authentication provider mappings.
• Gameplay statistics and match history.
• Cloud-synced settings.
• Friend connections (removed from both sides).
• Leaderboard entries.
• Consent records (after a 3-year retention period for legal compliance).

Timeline

In-game deletion is processed immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days. Once processed, the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Data We Cannot Delete

Aggregated, anonymized analytics data (e.g., total matches played across all players) does not contain personally identifiable information and is not subject to deletion.
